Puranchandrodaya Ras SIDDHMAKARDHWAJ : Benefits, Uses, and Dosage in Ayurveda

Puranchandrodaya Ras SIDDHMAKARDHWAJ is known for increasing vitality and longevity by alleviating conditions such as seminal discharge, nocturnal emission, tissue weakness, mental fatigue, impotence, heart weakness, chronic fever, tuberculosis, asthma, diabetes, various toxic conditions, weak digestion, and epilepsy. It is considered a rejuvenator, strengthener, tonic, blood purifier, antimicrobial, and nervine tonic. It is highly beneficial in treating diseases like tuberculosis, disorders due to aggravated Kapha, and impotence.

If consumed during the night or at the end of sexual intercourse, it provides immense strength, capable of stealing the pride of even a hundred proud women. Ghee, thickened milk, urad (black gram) products, and other nutritious foods are recommended during its consumption. Continuous consumption of this Rasayana for a year renders the body immune to any kind of natural, supernatural, or animate poison. Just like the practice of Mrityunjaya mantra or ritual helps overcome death, regular consumption of this Rasayana eliminates the fear of death from the minds of people.

Gold and gold-based medicines provide strength to the heart and purify the blood.

Note: Consumption of Puranchandrodaya Ras SIDHMAKARDHWAJ should be done as per the advice of a qualified healthcare professional, especially if the liver is weak during consumption time, as it may lead to special benefits when taken with ghee. It is particularly favorable for individuals with a slow pulse rate, weak heart function, and predominantly Kapha constitution. Individuals with a Pitta-predominant constitution, who have a fast pulse rate and experience internal heat, should avoid this Rasayana.
